Magnificent views of Fasa, a large terrace and a cozy kitchen. A little more expensive, but it's probably the highest restaurant in the area. It wasn't very crowded during lunch, so you don't have to wait long for your food. I recommend

I was there with my dad on a ski holiday and it was perfect! The food is amazing, the view is breathtaking, and the experience itself is so joyful. No matter what we chose to eat - it was simply delicious, much better than the food in the hotel where we slept. *We were not in a hotel, but only in a restaurant. I was there with my father on a ski vacation and it was PERFECT! When we were hungry we just went there and ate a decent meal. The food is amazing (and cheap), the view is breath-taking, and the experience is so delightful. It doesn't matter what we chose to eat - it was tasty, a lot more than the food in the hotel where we have slept. *We were not at the hotel; but only at the restaurant.

The Des Alpes Refuge is located on Col Rodella, at an altitude of 2,440 metres, in the heart of the Fassa Dolomites. This privileged position offers a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the most iconic peaks of the Dolomites, including Sassolungo, the Sella Group, Pordoi and the Marmolada. The refuge is easily reachable thanks to the cable car that leaves from Campitello di Fassa and arrives directly at Col Rodella. This accessibility makes it an ideal destination for both hikers and skiers. In particular, the Rifugio Des Alpes is located in a strategic position for ski enthusiasts, offering direct access to the famous Sellaronda Skitour, a ski circuit that connects four Dolomite passes. In summer, Col Rodella is an ideal starting point for excursions, trekking and outdoor activities. The area is also particularly appreciated by paragliding and hang-gliding enthusiasts, being one of the main take-off points for free flight in Val di Fassa. During the winter, the refuge becomes a point of reference for skiers who frequent the Sellaronda slopes, offering moments of relaxation and refreshment with music and entertainment in the bar located on the panoramic terrace. The review only concerns the location of the property; I have not used its services.

Excellent self service. Good, large cutlet, accompanied by a generous portion of chips. Prices normal. I would recommend increasing the seating for self service.

After a very long walk (up the mountain), I had a delicious soup with orzo there. Recommended. Staff is very nice. View great of course.

Welcoming service and friendly staff. Tasty goulash and excellent dumplings, soft and tasty venison steak, very good polenta too. Correct prices and generous portions. I highly recommend.

Good food, accessible on foot and by cable car

We had lunch here today with a plate of polenta and mushroom stew for two. Super filling and really great. Friendly staff.

Spectacular refuge located at the exit of the Col Rodella cable car in Campitello in Fassa Trained and helpful staff with a wide range of choices from the menu Dishes prepared with care and speed of service! It is definitely worth a visit at least for a quick snack if not for a more than satisfying lunch 😋
