After a fantastic week in Steinhaus, and especially at the Steinhauswirt Hotel, we're on our way home and have to get used to the fact that we haven't booked a complete pampering package this time. Starting with the balanced breakfast was the perfect foundation for a day of skiing, which begins just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, right next to the gondola. After returning to the slopes, you can relax in the comfortable rooms before the excellent dinner is served. Alternatively, you can also spend some time in the bar. Throughout the entire stay, you can rely on Barbara to ensure that all your needs are met. We felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the Hotel Steinhauswirt.

We stayed at the Steinhauswirt for seven days. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hotel offers everything you could need: underground parking and a parking space, quiet, clean rooms that are regularly cleaned, and a sauna. It's less than a three-minute walk to the valley station of the Klausberg Ski World. A ski storage room is available. The half-board option is highly recommended. Each of the four courses is prepared with care and tastes fantastic. Barbara anticipates your every need. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could want, and the coffee from the espresso machine is superb. The value for money is outstanding. Incidentally, buses to Bruneck stop at the hotel, making it easy to explore the surrounding region. We'll be back just for the food.

Had a one night stopover at this little hotel. Nice spacious apartment that well fits the family of 4, dinner was so delicious we had to order another round of schnitzel, and owner and staff are super nice. Little gem! Perfect for skiers with main lift nearby.

05/01/2026: A true culinary highlight! From the moment you step inside, the owners warmly welcome you with genuine friendliness and kind words. You immediately feel at ease and comfortable. The atmosphere is pleasant, inviting, and perfect for lingering. The food is absolutely outstanding: freshly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and presented with meticulous attention to detail. The small but exquisite menu prioritizes quality over quantity and leaves nothing to be desired. Every dish is thoughtfully designed and perfectly balanced. The fantastic wine selection deserves special mention. In addition to carefully chosen wines, the house wine is particularly impressive, tasting superb and pairing beautifully with the dishes. Attentive and friendly service completes the experience. A restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend – we will definitely be back!
04/01/2026: While staying in Brixen we decided to venture a few minutes out of town to this restaurant and we did not regret it. The restaurant is a family business. You are welcomed by the owners who take great care of you throughout your meal with suggestions about wine pairings and anything you might need. Most ingredients are sourced locally, if they don't come directly from their estate - like the wine and the grappa. The owner's son is in the kitchen. The menu provides a selection of courses (appetizers, primi, secondi and dessert) and offers as well a pre-fixed menu. Everything is cooked to order and masterfully plated. I would also add that the value is outstanding, compared to what you would find downtown Brixen and in relation to the quality of the food. The environment is elegant and the restaurant overlooks the valley, providing a dining experience with a stunning view.

22/11/2025: We ate very well, the food was delicious, the Florentine steak and the semolina gnocchi with ragù were delicious, the chestnut tiramisu was fabulous.
05/11/2025: A hotel housed in an industrial building that has been well preserved and renovated. Quiet and clean, with a decent breakfast and excellent value. Plus, the vintage garage.
