What we did not like · Good welcome from the receptionist but the girl was a bit hesitant, nothing serious, but I did not like the brusque and condescending way of the owner in taking over: I am the owner of a company and by belittling the staff in front of the customer you belittle your company, it is not good. The room was clean even if in the shower tray you could see an unidentifiable halo. Unfortunately the perceived quality was not what you would expect from a 4 star........ The shower was small even for a little guy like me, the bathroom tiles were dated (I assume early 90s) and I had to ask for shower shampoo because a single 10 ml sachet seems really little even for a bald guy like me. The size of the room was the minimum for the category, 9 square meters. or slightly higher but the perception was lower. Breakfast at 7:30 is unwelcome: it can be fine if you are on holiday but if you have to catch a plane you have to skip it even if paid for. In all the hotels I have frequented, breakfast is served at 7:00. So used to it, I got the wrong time so I sat down with a book at the outdoor tables in front of the pool and the owner invited me to move away to avoid other guests seeing me and sitting down too. It is true that the stars are not given by the structure, the Municipality does it on behalf of the Region, but other parameters should be checked periodically and evaluated, not only the size and equipment of the rooms but also the quality of the materials. I stayed in Valencia with my family 30 days ago: 150.00 per night with breakfast included (from 7:00) for 3 people. Mini apartment with 2 well-sized double bedrooms, 2 spacious bathrooms with large shower and living room with armchair and sofa. Brand new structure. I'm sorry but there is no comparison.
