The trusted bakery of a family friend in Viale Dante, which we, passing by, wanted to try. The environment is spacious, bright and clean; I appreciated the fact that an entire section of the place was dedicated to the bakery for the pastry part. The girl at the counter was very kind and patient in explaining any information we had doubts about. Unfortunately, the focaccias, for our personal taste, did not convince us too much: we found them hard and dry. They seemed more like bread than focaccia. As for the brioches, we were very satisfied with the round one with fruit, while the hazelnut croissant was unfortunately quite neutral in flavor. The highlight of this experience, however, was in the desserts: the apple puff pastry was excellent, but the sponge cake with cream and almonds was spectacular. Rarely has a bakery surprised me so much in terms of sweets, and this was the crowning achievement of a perfect end to a meal. Definitely deserving of a good rating.
