A family friend's trusted bakery on Viale Dante, which we decided to try as we passed by. The space is spacious, bright, and clean; I appreciated the fact that an entire section of the shop was dedicated to the bakery for its pastries. The woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and patient, explaining any questions we had. Unfortunately, the focaccias, for our personal taste, weren't entirely convincing: we found them hard and dry. They tasted more like bread than focaccia. As for the brioches, we were very pleased with the round one with fruit, while the hazelnut croissant was unfortunately quite bland in flavor. The highlight of this experience, however, was the desserts: the apple puff pastry was excellent, but the sponge cake with cream and almonds was spectacular. Rarely has a bakery surprised me so much with its sweets, and this was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Definitely worthy of a good rating.
