Pizzeria Rossetti In Genova

After visiting the truffle fair in Alba, a truly amazing experience, we had lunch at Ristorante Rossetti. I had risotto with porcini mushrooms and black truffles, and my wife had ravioli with pumpkin sauce and burrata. The portions were small, but delicious. The wine was practically a sip. But I've made a mental note that when I make mushroom risotto (and I definitely will) I'll use slightly fewer porcini mushrooms, so they don't overpower the truffle flavor. My wife absolutely loved the ravioli.

Excellent food, super friendly staff. Great atmosphere and hospitality.

The food isn't bad, but the portions are small. Prices are generally average, and the location is good.

A slightly less commercial bistro restaurant in the centre of Alba, with very courteous and friendly service and decent dishes, highly recommended.

I like to reserve 5 stars for the really extraordinary places; this was very good. We had wonderful risotto with porcini mushrooms, bagna cauda, wild board stew, and veal with the tuna sauce. All was great. As we watched other things coming out of the kitchen, they all looked fantastic as well. Recommend this restaurant without reservations!
