A very simple but incredibly welcoming location. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive to all her guests' needs. The pizzas and the entire menu are delicious. Highly recommended.

A very charming place – I'm talking about the romantic garden and veranda, as the interior is modest and lackluster. The pizza was very average – I was a bit disappointed because they have an oven. The dough was okay, but the rest was a bit lackluster, as the toppings were very salty and the whole thing was incredibly fatty and difficult to digest. The service was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable, but I wouldn't go back for Italian pizza again.

Since this day I can say I had the best pizza in the world. It’s a cozy terrace with lights. Doesn’t need more I highly recommend eating here.

In short – it's cheap and you can eat well. The place looks rather off-putting from a Central European perspective, but the garden under a large, spreading olive tree is very atmospheric, though there are many flaws. There's an old table at the back of the garden that could be taken away, but I guess the Italians have such a unique atmosphere that they don't care. The service was very friendly; one gentleman spoke English well, the rest were classically Polish – not so much. The pizza itself wasn't very Italian, more of a fatty American feel, but overall, it was tasty. The eggplant on the pizza was perfectly cooked, and the wine was available at a good price, and it was delicious :)

Vinimos aquí basándonos en las muchas críticas positivas. Mientras estábamos sentados rápidamente sin una reserva y nuestro pedido fue tomado rápido, la experiencia fue cuesta abajo desde allí. El vino blanco local era bueno y llegó pronto, pero luego esperamos casi una hora para nuestra comida. Cuando IT llegó, el vino estaba caliente y ya NO teníamos hambre. La pizza y la focaccia eran decentes, aunque partes estaban claramente quemadas. Lo que realmente se destacó, sin embargo, fue la actitud poco útil ITude cuando se trataba de pagar: pedimos dividir la factura por igual, que es completamente estándar, y se nos dijo que solo averiguarlo nosotros mismos y que una persona pagara. NO hay interés en facilitar las cosas a los huéspedes. En general, la visita fue abrumadora. No volveremos.

In due abbiamo preso una maxi grigliata di carne una porzione di patatine fritte e due birre grandi, una location tranquilla per chi non ha grosse pretese, servizio veloce e buon cibo, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Consigliato!

20/10/2025: Outstanding. The pizzaiolo's craft is still alive here. The pizza was first-class, the service excellent. Highly recommended.
19/10/2025: I'd heard about this pizzeria, and last Saturday, despite having little time for dinner, I decided to take the plunge. The format is efficient self-service: you order at the counter and pick up your pizza when it's ready, then enjoy it there. Despite the crowds (the place was filled with customers eating in and taking out), the service was surprisingly quick and well-managed. While waiting, I sampled an excellent fritto misto: the panelle, mozzarella balls, and French fries were cooked to perfection, golden brown, and—most importantly—absolutely not greasy. It was quickly time for the pizza: I picked it up at the counter, and it was rich in toppings, well-cooked, and incredibly tasty. The prices are the same as takeout, with no surcharge for table service. This makes the value for money simply exceptional! The staff is extremely kind and attentive to customer needs. A definitely positive experience.

Grani da Re - Pizza e Bottega

25/10/2025: Truly a fantastic pizzeria! We ended up there because I'm gluten-free. The gluten-free pizzas are made in a separate kitchen with homemade dough – extremely delicious and guaranteed gluten-free! They even serve gluten-free beer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free products. The "regular" pizzas also taste very, very good – regional, fresh ingredients, traditional and unusual variations. Perfect pizzeria!
24/10/2025: Grani da Re – Pizzeria & Ristorante was a real highlight of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that lovely mix of warmth and authenticity that makes you feel instantly at home. The pizza was out of this world – easily the best we had anywhere in Sicily. The base was perfectly light and crisp, the toppings fresh and full of flavour, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven. I wish I’d tried their organic grain pizza, but I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical at first, having been disappointed by other local restaurants where the pizza was, frankly, quite poor. I’m kicking myself now, because if it’s anything like the one I had, it must be incredible! If you love pizza, make sure you visit Grani da Re – it’s an absolute must. We can’t wait to go back!
