Went for the first time with my daughter, I have to say that the place is beautiful, clean and bright and spartan, the staff is very very kind, and compliments the 🍕 and delicious, fair prices and popular. We'll be back 🎉🎉🥳

A welcoming and, above all, clean atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and willing to listen and satisfy customers. The specialties offered reflect authentic Neapolitan cuisine and are of excellent quality. For those with gluten intolerances, there's a wide selection available. Reservations are required.

Naples isn't just a city, but a way of life itself. Naples is a sunny people. Naples is a people of instinct and emotion, with few petty calculations. Naples is the line outside a restaurant to eat pizza: not a wait, but a ritual. Naples is this pizzeria made of heart, emotion, and eager people eager to bite into happiness. We arrived at Batti's Pizzeria Il Girasole at 9:00 PM, and despite the hour, the crowd was a special occasion crowd. But you know what? It's worth every second. Finally, our table is ready. Paper placemats, but metal cutlery and cloth napkins, glass cups and goblets. A spontaneous elegance that makes one thing clear right away: pizza here is serious business. The appetizer -> an explosion of delicacies: The crocché: the pinnacle of Neapolitan ingenuity, transforming humble ingredients (potatoes, eggs, cheese) into something noble. The golden brown color was amber, revealing a deep, unhurried frying. The crust was grainy on the outside, but the magic happens inside: a velvety softness and full-bodied texture with a dry, stringy center. A gold bar. The montanarine: so beautiful you don't want to touch them. Golden disks swollen with air, crispy on the outside and soft as clouds on the inside. Our favorite? The one with porchetta. A match of the titans: the lightness of the dough challenges the flavorful "boastfulness" of the meat. K.O. with the first bite. The pizza: the highlight of this place, something truly authentic that everyone can agree on, is a Neapolitan pizza that has evolved, far removed from the greasy, undercooked flavor we often imagine. Here, pizza is art, it's happiness, it's a masterpiece. Everything is meticulously crafted, from the name of the pizza to the ingredients. Each one tells a different story, and we've read these chapters. • LA NORA: crust filled with a cream of broccoli rabe and Agerola provola, fiordilatte, San Marzano tomatoes, wild boar salami, and sun-dried tomatoes -> more than a cream, it was actual broccoli rabe that slipped away with every bite of the crust. The salami, instead of the classic sausage, was a perfect match, and the hint of sun-dried tomatoes made the combination spectacular. • LA CARBONARA: fiordilatte, carbonara cream, smoked bacon, black pepper. Words fail, carbonara is carbonara. We were completely sold on Girasole. Here, you can feel the Naples of pure emotion and human warmth. Everything is in its place, from the freshness of the ingredients to the friendliness of the staff, right down to the lightness of the pizza. A lightness so great that the next morning you wake up wondering if you really ate it or if it was just a beautiful dream. A note of merit? If you're looking for gluten-free, you're in the world's top spot. It's not just us saying it, it's the podium: 2nd place at the 2023 World Pizza Championship. I discovered this pizzeria thanks to friends because my wife is celiac. It's an extraordinary pizzeria. The gluten-free pizzas are incredibly delicious, and they're truly worth trying. The fried appetizers are also delicious, and the gluten-free ones are a rarity, I must say, because they're not normally found elsewhere. I eat normally, so I don't have any intolerances, and the pizza was truly delicious. I can say I've never visited a Neapolitan pizzeria before. Kudos to everyone! As for the service, it would have been nice if the gluten-free pizzas had arrived at the same time as the regular pizzas. We had to wait a bit longer there, but that doesn't change the fact that the pizza is truly good and worth going back to Il Girasole di Battista.

A historic Faenza pizzeria in pure Neapolitan style. Classic pizza with a generous crust, as per tradition. Uncompromising quality of dough and toppings, everything delicious. You'll find classic pizzas, as well as some original options, perhaps seasonal. A good selection of beers. Very interesting classic desserts, such as mascarpone baba, Sicilian cannoli, and more. Super-fast service, even when the place is sold out—a true workhorse! Prices are reasonable for the quality. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking in front, although not exactly huge. Highly recommended! P.S. There's a very convenient online reservation system, which I highly recommend using. The place is often packed, even on weekday evenings.

13/03/2026: An "old-school" trattoria serving delicious, traditional Romagna dishes in generous portions. Anna was very attentive to our two dogs, spoiling them with treats to keep them entertained. A wonderful experience.
