I discovered this historic pizzeria through some old friends. We chose this restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day with them. This historic Neapolitan pizzeria has been renovated to retain the style of 1950s pizzerias. It's not very large, but it offers a generous menu of various pizzas, fried foods, and classic Neapolitan cuisine. We had a classic pizza menu with an appetizer of delicious mixed Neapolitan fried foods, truly delicious and of excellent quality. The pizza, classic Neapolitan, is soft, with puffed edges, made with a long-leavened sourdough dough, and high-quality ingredients. My pizza was named with a classic Neapolitan exclamation: meatballs in tomato sauce, eggplant, and provola cheese. The prices are really low: two large bottled beers, a bottle of water, and a mixed fried food in the center of the table. For four pizzas, we paid just over €70. We'll be back. I forgot, the menu lists regular and maxi pizzas. The maxi is a little bigger, but it's still delicious!

Divine. I tried a Margherita with maxi buffalo mozzarella. Size: for a maxi, it's rather small, the size of a regular pizza... however.... Dough: obviously Neapolitan, but very light and not rubbery, as often happens with this type of dough if not made properly; Ingredients: the sauce... let's talk about the sauce... SPECTACULAR... it was like eating grandma's best fresh tomato sauce. It was authentic, absolutely the best quality you could ever taste. Of course, the buffalo mozzarella was excellent and complemented the sauce in perfect harmony. What can I say... size isn't everything, and Cafasso's pizza honors Neapolitan tradition.
Price: €10 for a maxi buffalo mozzarella pizza. Considering the quality and deliciousness, it's perfectly acceptable.
The place is small, like other historic pizzerias in Naples, but it's welcoming. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick, considering the number of people already seated.
In short, I'm grateful I don't live in Naples, otherwise I'd risk eating pizza every day 🤤. A few days after Italian cuisine was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I celebrated in my own way.
