Pizzeria Don Enzo In Barano d'ischia

09/08/2024: Very tasty pizzas and many different options available. Cheap / good value for money. Friendly staff. Unfortunately we sat outside as per availability and the environment was not very appealing.

07/08/2024: From the outside you would not think this is one of the best pizzeria in the area, it has a fish monger just next to it and the entrance goes almost unnoticed. This place serves an AMAZING pizza!!!! We were 2 adults and 2 children and 3 of us ordered the mozzarella di bufala pizza and added some Parma ham on top, which was simply delicious, so light, the dough not too salty, just the right pinch of salt to make the other ingredients stand out. The tomato sauce was so tasty. My husband had the provola, alici (anchovies), lemon and sprinkled seaweeds napoletane on top (this pizza has no tomato sauce, so called "pizza a base bianca"). We all loved our pizzas and the service was really good, fast and polite, also prices are really reasonable considered you are right in the centre of Piazza Carita' and the quartieri spagnoli. We also had some "fritti" (suppli' and croquettes, other typical Napoli nibbles) as starters as we were quite hungry and those come out very quickly. We would like to thank la Sig.ra Pia who took care of us, for her service and politeness. We really enjoyed our pizza lunch and would definitely recommend this place!!
