Pizzeria Don Enzo In Barano d'ischia

Excellent pizzas, one of the best doughs I have tasted, the topping is very beautiful, in a very family and typical spirit.

The pizza is good, nothing to complain about. But the place is a bit dated.

This was probably the best pizza I’ve had in my entire life anywhere on earth. I forgot the name of the pizza but it had lemon zest, prosciutto cotto, and cherry tomatoes on it. Was the best pizza I’ve eaten in my 30+ years on earth. The people that run the pizzeria and mini-store are super friendly and nice, locals to the island. The credit card machine wasn’t working so he even let me pay in dollars and apologized for the inconvenience. Will be back and will recommend to everyone!

Scary pizza and very familiar atmosphere

Potato croquet made with real potatoes deserves a 7.5. Montanara with octopus ragù is an 8. As for the pizza, filled with ricotta and fried cooked ham, the ricotta was incredibly soft and the dough was crispy, better than many I've had in Naples. How could I not give it a 10? All washed down with a liter of good house wine, coffee, and a bitter aftertaste. The final surprise was the bill, which didn't come to €40 including tip (there were two of us). The staff were welcoming and professional, a great team. By the way! If you decide to go, I recommend booking. I was there on a Tuesday night and everything was already booked.

Informal and welcoming atmosphere (far from the unbearable Augustan chaos of Porto and Forio), kind and friendly staff, excellent pizza, delicious potato croquettes, more than fair prices. Highly recommended.

The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable meal. Overall, it was a great experience.
