Pizzeria Del Sole Piacenza In Piacenza

A historic location in Piacenza that I'd never been to until last night. We were looking for a post-cinema snack, and I finally had the chance to try it. The place is small and simple, almost spartan. With a few neon lights and friendly staff, the first impression was already good. We arrived just in time to get the last slices of pizza of the day, and I can say they were excellent. Thin crust, as they like here in Piacenza, I found it soft and delicious when reheated. Enjoying it on the public promenade at odd hours could become a new passion of mine. Now I understand why this pizzeria on Corso Vittorio Emanuele has never gone out of style among its loyal customers. Sometimes the winning formula lies in simplicity.
