23/02/2026: Excellent dinner with friends, helpful and friendly waiter. We'll definitely be back!
15/02/2026: I'd read other users' comments and had low expectations, but I had to change my mind at least about the food. Everything was good, an evening for two. The appetizers, 1 beef tartare and 1 seared tuna with boiled artichokes, were excellent. The first course, shared between two, was tagliolini with Mussolini ragù, perfect, with just the right amount of salt and a balanced fish flavor. The second course, 1 sliced beef in Chianti, excellent, cooked just right and flavored. 1 sliced beef in rosemary, cooked just right but less exciting in flavor, let's say neutral, neither praise nor infamy. Dessert, the warm tartlet with vanilla ice cream was good.
Let's move on to the sore points: the service was slow; let's just say it was a diesel. An hour from ordering to the appetizer is too long, but once we got started, the other dishes arrived regularly. They were a bit messy; it's a shame to go around the tables asking whose plate it is. However, I didn't encounter any rudeness or bored expressions from the staff; in fact, even at the cash register, although you always have to wait, I always saw kindness in the end.
I mean, even the diners nearby were amazed at the excellent food and the taste, evidently influenced by the reviews as well; perhaps many were a bit of a gamble.
In short, there are certainly things that need revisiting. But today, with so much talk of slow food, conviviality at the table, and agreements and work consultations to be held at the table, for some, if the objectives are those mentioned, this place could be the right one.
If you're looking for a frugal meal, it's not the right place.
