12/07/2025: I'm from Vomero by birth and have been a regular at Pizzeria Alba since I was a kid, frequenting it with my parents. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere remain consistently high! I've eaten everything from the excellent, light and easily digestible pizza to the flavorful fried foods, the exquisite first and second courses, not to mention the variety and flavor of the desserts. In my opinion, it's an excellent pizzeria and a remarkable restaurant, a rare gem in Vomero. But I wonder, why are the most negative and misleading reviews coming from travel guides? Perhaps they would have preferred not to pay? Before demolishing a culinary masterpiece, you need to be honest, but then again, among us loyal customers, word of mouth is enough; in fact, the place is always packed and the fake reviews slide right off our backs!!! Thanks Alba!

Osteria del Buonconvento

31/07/2025: This place is amazing. The food is better than most restaurants we have been in around Sorrento. You find locals eating here which is a good thing. There is so much history within. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed. We will be back ourselves.
24/07/2025: ✨ Carefully decorated, but the wine is forgettable The Osteria del Buonconvento has a truly pleasant atmosphere, with a carefully crafted decor that invites you to linger. The food was good, uninspiring, but overall satisfying. The problem was the wine: I ordered a glass of Barolo (€15) and unfortunately was served a wine with a rather suspect orange color, an acidic flavor and aroma, the wrong temperature, and even some cork. When I pointed this out to the waiter, instead of apologizing or immediately offering a substitution, he insisted I continue tasting it. Only at the end did he offer me another wine, but by then I was no longer willing to risk it. It's a shame, because the place is worth a visit, but certain details—like the careful selection of wine and the attention to detail—make the difference in a restaurant that strives for quality.
