15/08/2025: Biagio's Baracchetta has been here... forever! Family-run, Biagio welcomes his customers with simplicity and courtesy, serving typical local products, Ligurian cuisine, and the famous Recco Focaccia with Cheese, a timeless favorite. Renovated over the years, it now features a simple yet welcoming outdoor veranda and a characteristic window-like opening where you can purchase Ligurian delicacies and drinks, as well as all the bar products and ice cream, to go. Focaccia is an institution here in Recco: small discs of dough (like "fritters") filled with stracchino cheese and then fried in hot oil. Sometimes I've found them to be empty or lightly filled, as is usually the case here. They're handmade one by one; no one is perfect.
