The pizzas are delicious in every sense: tasty, delicious, satisfying, highly digestible, designed and made with great passion, care and love. High quality genuine ingredients and seasonings, long leavening times, with an evident rare sense of responsibility for the well-being of customers, children and adults, which the staff at the tables manage to convey with kindness and empathy. Kind and quiet atmosphere, attentive and courteous service. A true oasis of pleasure and authenticity, even when it comes to drinks.

The excellent pizza is confirmed, I love the one with yellow cherry tomato sauce, leek, red cherries and mangalica cheek (Hungarian pig with fine meat)... a masterpiece that reflects the passion of the manager. Compliments. Excellent

Quanto offerto da Carpe Diem è stato eccellente dalle pizze con ingredienti sfiziosi, gli abbinamenti completi con birra artigianale o con vino prodotto in biodinamica certificato , dolci notevoli e liquori di fine pasto incredibili (ho assaggiato quello alla carruba). Proprietario gentile, onesto ed appassionato. ECCELLENTE.

Una delle pizze più buone mangiate negli ultimi anni. Materia prima di qualità, impasto leggerissimo. Graditissima la presenza di vini naturali in carta, che per Lecce (ahimè) è cosa molto rara. Maurizio ottimo padrone di casa, e la sua mamma, dolcissima. Assolutamente consigliato

15/11/2024: I have been to this restaurant a year later and I must confirm everything I said previously. Some family members joined me and I took them to this "treasure", making them taste not only the spaghetti with cacio e pepe, but also the breaded porcini mushrooms and the famous rib... a very good piece of meat cooked to "perfection". It is useless to add the quality of the service and their availability to our requests. For me I classify it as an "essential" stop for those coming to Salento for a gastronomic visit. Fernando, I'm from Bari which is not around the corner, I will try to convince my wife to stay in your "castle".

28/08/2024: Parmigiana di melanzana di mare, molto particolare assolutamente consigliata per provare. Frittura di paranza, nel complesso buona, la differenza sostanziale la fa ovviamente la disponibilità del pescato. Vino al calice molto buono e bottiglia aperta appositamente. Piatto con pescatrice riaddattato alle mie esigenze da vegetariana senza alcun problema.
28/08/2024: Seafood aubergine parmigiana, very special and absolutely recommended to try. Fried paranza, good overall, the substantial difference is obviously made by the availability of the catch. Very good wine by the glass and bottle opened specifically. Dish with monkfish adapted to my needs as a vegetarian without any problem.
