Pizzeria Bar Sport In Vailate

I had dinner with my girlfriend; we had mixed fried fish and spaghetti allo scoglio. Two huge portions, compliments to the chef for the delicious food she served us. Portions like this, and with fresh fish, are not many you'll find in other pizzerias in the area 💪. The service was welcoming, and the waitresses were kind and fast. I'll definitely be back to try other first courses, not to mention the super-delicious and amazing pizzas.

The size of the pizzas The contents of the pizzas The noise inside the place The size of the beers The quantity of fried food Everything is plentiful and I'd say good. The place is dated and simple. The family atmosphere makes it unique. If you like abundance, you'll definitely find it here.

Good food and pizza, huge portions, very large pizza

It is certainly not a new cousine but a classic trattoria where you can eat abundant and home-made food at a more than fair price (I personally prefer these places) 2 special mentions for the pizza which is giant and thin which I love and the staff who are punctual and always with a smile and not everywhere nowadays is taken for granted to find. We went to Bar Sport in Vailate with friends on a Saturday night: a crowded place, a lively atmosphere, and decor reminiscent of '90s pizzerias, simple and unfussy. The house specialty is undoubtedly the pizzas, huge enough to overflow the plate. Despite their size, they're well-made: light and thin crust, good-quality ingredients. Prices are average, but the value for money is truly unbeatable. If you can't finish one (very likely!), you can take the leftovers home. In addition to pizzas, there's also a menu with dishes that, judging by the way they're being served, look very promising, even though we didn't try them ourselves. The selection of craft beers and the wine display are interesting. One downside: the wine bottles aren't refrigerated, and, thanks to the heat of the pizzeria's oven, the wines risk being served too hot to be appreciated. That's why we avoided them. A dedicated refrigerator, at least for white wines, would certainly be helpful. The service, despite the Saturday night crowd, was courteous and fast. Highly recommended for an evening with friends over pizza and beer.

In the '90s, we went there to eat the super pizza, and so it has been in the following decades, as it is today. A favorite place. (Historical management since '79)

Excellent food. Helpful and polite staff. Rustic yet clean and tidy atmosphere.

We were there on Sunday and we were served by a girl, new to us, called Veronica, who was very good and attentive.
