Marco is a very good chef, the love and passion he puts into his dishes can be felt in the taste! I recommend trying its first courses and the owl appetizer, you will be amazed!
The thin pizzas with soft dough, very seasoned (with one you are satisfied, especially seafood!) with a nice draft beer, which went down very well.
Homemade desserts, delicious meringue and tiramisu.
Despite the many people on Saturday evening, the staff was able to manage the service as best as possible. We feel satisfied, enjoyed and with a full belly. We will definitely return to eat at Il Gufo!
12/01/2025: We have just had a dinner for 14 people for approximately 270 euros, excellent if not perfect service and food, we have always been customers of this place, but I must point out a significant detail, the NEW owner.
This evening before we even had coffee they turned off the hot air conditioner, we wouldn't have had a problem if it hadn't been that there was a hole in the glass door and we were cold, plus with a 2 month old baby.
When my mother asked the owner for explanations, they were: "I thought you were hot" and "I thought he was leaving".
Now, unfortunately or fortunately, I have worked for several years in the catering sector as a waitress and in any case, on principle, customers are expected to leave the table before turning everything off, unfortunately it was just a ploy by the owner to send us away, a big It's a shame because the service and cuisine were impeccable as always and what's more I have always come to eat here for years and always in large numbers, I even come from La Spezia to eat here and unfortunately after this experience we will be forced not to come here again.
I feel sorry for the girls to whom I would have gladly left a tip but after this well served it didn't seem appropriate.
