Discovered by chance, we ordered two pizzas. The pizzas are somewhere between Neapolitan and contemporary. Good quality. The beers are also good.

Pizzeria in the heart of Ravenna. Beautiful location, excellent service, and excellent pizza. One of the very few pizzerias that are also open for lunch. Alternative doughs available, including Senatore Cappelli flour, whole wheat flour, einkorn wheat, and of course wheat flour. Not only do you find the usual flavors here, but they also create seasonal flavors. They also offer lactose-free mozzarella.

The best pizza, hands down. Quality ingredients, incredibly digestible pizza, a choice of different types of flour (all excellent), seasonally rotating specialty pizzas with delicious combinations (all worth trying). Clean and modern place. Friendly, smiling, and always helpful staff. Congratulations, you deserve much more stars than expected.

There are pizzerias and pizzerias...with endless varieties of pizza, traditional, ancient, modern, gourmet...and then there's Pizza Futura, the epitome of pizza in Ravenna. Raw ingredients are undoubtedly superior to any other, light and varied doughs, and attention to detail is astonishing. We came to Pizza Futura thanks to some friends who invited us to eat pizza here, and now, after tasting these overwhelmingly flavorful pizzas, I can say without a doubt that we will never eat any other pizza but Futura.

01/10/2025: I often go to this piadineria, where I buy piadinas and crescioni, mostly to-go. I think they're the best in all of Ravenna. Besides the one I bite into right away because the aroma is impossible to resist, I can refrigerate the rest at home, and they keep for several days. Then, simply reheat them in a nonstick pan for a few minutes. If I'm visiting friends in Rome or Umbria, or if they come to visit me, these delicious piadinas are a wonderful gift. Among the crescioni, my favorite is sausage and onion, but there are so many fillings to choose from. For your sweet-toothed nephew on his way home from school, why not get a Nutella cappelletti?
