We stopped yesterday, by chance. A wonderful discovery. We sat in the upper room, private and cool. Very good pizza and a complete fried calzone, illegal! Very kind staff. Top price, almost free. If you are in the Garibaldi area, I highly recommend you stop by.

What crazy things this place! We bought in passing before arriving on an excursion and I returned to repeat the fried pizza that was exquisite. It was the first contact with Neapolitan cuisine and it set the bar high for everything that followed in the following days. What a great surprise!

Considering the location very close to the station it is the best place you can find in the area with cheap prices. Lots of choice for pizza flavors and you can find all the typical appetizers.

Ristorante Pizzeria Mattozzi

23/06/2025: A very nice place. Very friendly, and the typical Neapolitan food is really good. I especially recommend the eggplant parmiggiana.
