This is my 8th time here. Rustic and simple. Great for motorcyclists

We stayed one night here in August 2024 while passing through to avoid Saturday traffic. Positive: Wonderful view of the valley from the balcony (in the rooms at the front), wonderful flowers on the balcony, modern bathroom. Behind the house you can immediately start hiking on a cool forest path, water sources for hikers both behind the house on the hiking trail and down on the road. Delicious Knoedel trio for dinner, very good Kerner white wine, and even live accordion music played by the daughter of the house. Negative: Unfortunately, the inn is located on a very busy street (at least in August), so you have to close the windows in order to sleep peacefully (if you have a room on the street side). The temperature in the annex (dining room) is too warm and unfortunately you cannot eat outside. Not a large selection of food. Lots of flies in the dining room (recommendation to the innkeepers: hang up fly traps). Despite reserving a table in advance, our table was not kept free, which we didn't find very nice.

The world's best ladies at the guesthouse saved our lives. Our battery was empty and we had to climb the Gampen Pass (1500 meters altitude) from Naraun to our accommodation Berggasthodn Pfitscher still manage. We were no longer up to this challenge and Rosmarie picked us up immediately. She had a heart in the right place. This willingness to help was unique.

We arrived late at night without a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. We met very nice, helpful people. We relaxed in a quiet, peaceful environment after a long journey and continued strengthened after a delicious, hearty breakfast. Thank you very much!
