Beautiful holiday spot with rustic accommodation in an old farmhouse including a renovated bathroom, a fantastic view, a very friendly host family, delicious food, and, most delightfully for me: a curious kitten and a friendly dog. Thank you very much!

A wonderful farm to relax on. The view is breathtaking. One thing to keep in mind: It takes 20 minutes by car from the bottom to the farm. A wonderful place to stay, one you won't forget.

While traveling through with my dog, we spent two very restful nights at the Kornkammer. A wonderful location, a very friendly and welcoming host family, and excellent food. Wonderful peace and quiet included. Highly recommended. 👍🏽🫶🏽

We would like to thank our wonderful host family for a truly wonderful holiday in South Tyrol. Our goal was to have a little home for ourselves with our dog, so we booked the Kornkammer Lodge. The drive up the Sonnenberg is, as is typical in the mountains, a paved, single-lane road, about 15 to 20 minutes from Naturno to the farm. It's a challenge, but you'll be rewarded with fantastic views and absolute peace and quiet. The lodge was very clean, and we immediately felt at home. Small, thoughtful touches like a tablecloth and a vase of flowers on the terrace table, or a welcome bread roll and herbal water, demonstrate the effort that goes into making this happen. Dinner at the farm is highly recommended; South Tyrolean specialties such as dumplings and Schlutzer are freshly and deliciously prepared at a fair price. A definite recommendation for all cheese and sausage lovers: Both are made by the host family themselves and taste absolutely delicious. You can also stock up on everything you need for a snack or breakfast if you want to have breakfast in your own little cottage. Everyone was always very friendly; we really enjoyed the peace and quiet, but also the occasional quick chat with the hosts when they were out and about on the farm. It's like a farm: In the afternoon, the chickens wandered leisurely across the meadow, which was always entertaining to watch. Several hikes up the mountain are possible directly from the accommodation, but you should be in good shape, as it can be steep. But you'll always be rewarded with great views. Our dog was warmly welcomed; we've never been on such a relaxing vacation with him. Thank you for that 😊

Wonderful vacation in the Merano mountains The host family was incredibly welcoming, the accommodation comfortable, very clean, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner was fresh, regional, and cooked with love. The hikes in the mountains around Merano offered impressive views, varied trails, and plenty of natural enjoyment. The cable car takes you quickly to Naturno, but it stops operating in strong winds. Merano and Bolzano are easily accessible by train.

My first holiday in South Tyrol and a complete success thanks to the Oberhofer family and their Patleithof. A very nice, hospitable family. It is a clean and tidy accommodation. There is the right sleeping option for everyone, from a 1000-year-old rustic farmhouse to a modern holiday apartment. The entire property offers a stunning view, no matter what the weather, it is always a natural spectacle. Very good cuisine, great breakfast, dinner prepared with love. Ideal location with good connections to various hiking trails as well as to the viewing platform and the cable car. Very animal friendly. Thank you for the great holiday. I am looking forward to my next stay at the Patleithof.
