Pasticceria Varriale In Napoli

It was reasonable and delicious. And Mr. Capacity is handsome.

At the end of a walk along via Roma/Toledo and at the end of via Chiaia, on the corner of via Filangieri, there is the place which is essentially a turret that also serves a few single desserts and various biscuits. We took a slice of cassata and a dessert that I think was called cupola, with lemon cream and red fruit jam The desserts were really good, with praise for the cassata which was covered with the right thin layer of sugar icing and therefore was not cloying. The marzipan on the back of the slice was also just the right amount and not overly sweet. All accompanied by a ginseng and a coffee, at a cost of 15.5 euros. The cost might seem high, but both the slice of cake and the dessert were the right size for a pleasant afternoon break and in any case we were sitting at the table and therefore I didn't expect to pay less. I will return to consolidate my opinion by tasting some other cakes.

...passing by chance in this area of ​​Naples!!...central area of ​​the city!!...I was attracted by the window of this “Varriale” pastry shop!!...and without knowing it!!...I found myself in the place of the best pastry chef in the year!!…Salvatore Varriale was awarded as best pastry chef of the year 2023/2024!!…and he also received the recognition of the Due Torte!!…from the Gambero Rosso pastry chef guide!!…but I'll be back at the “Varriale” pastry shop!!…the environment is nice!!…welcoming and bright!!…with professional staff!!…helpful and kind!!…here you can find everything!!…traditional pastiera…artisanal panettone…shortbread biscuits …chocolates…sfogliatelle and babà!!…many specialties also packaged as gifts!!…but so much more!!…I took eleven babà!!…a typical Neapolitan pastry dessert!!…to bring upon my return to Trentino!!...they were packaged for me in different ways!!...in several trays!!...exactly as I had asked!!...even if the place was full!!...I was given some beautiful, carefully packaged items!!...what can I say! !...I found myself passing by this "Varriale" pastry shop by chance!!...in Naples!!...but for me it was a real pleasure!!...and when I'm in Naples!!...I will definitely go back !!…👍🍰🍪🔝💯‼️

…di passaggio per caso in questa zona di Napoli!!…zona centrale della città!!…sono stata attirata dalla vetrina di questa Pasticceria “Varriale”!!…e senza saperlo!!…mi sono trovata nel locale del miglior pasticcere dell’anno!!…Salvatore Varriale è stato premiato come miglior pasticcere dell’anno 2023/2024!!…e ha avuto anche il riconoscimento delle Due Torte!!…della guida dei pasticceri di Gambero Rosso!!…ma torno alla Pasticceria “Varriale”!!…l’ambiente è carino!!…accogliente e luminoso!!…con personale professionale!!…disponibile e gentile!!…qui si trova di tutto!!…pastiera della tradizione…panettoni artigianali…frollini…cioccolatini…sfogliatelle e i babà!!…tante specialità anche confezionate per regalare!!…ma tanto e poi tanto altro!!…io ho preso undici babà!!…un dolce tipico della pasticceria napoletana!!…da portare al mio ritorno in Trentino!!…mi sono stati confezionati divisi!!…in più vassoi!!…esattamente come avevo chiesto!!…anche se locale pieno!!…mi sono state fatte delle belle confezioni curate!!…che dire!!…mi sono trovata per caso a passare in questa Pasticceria “Varriale”!!…a Napoli!!…ma per me è stato un vero piacere!!…e quando sarò a Napoli!!…ci tornerò sicuramente !!…👍🍰🍪🔝💯‼️

Exceptional bar selling superlative desserts impeccable service but above all a proper coffee, made with the heart

Good service, significantly better than average pastries, fair prices. One of the best cafe/pastry options in chiaia. The zarello is excellent compared to many in Naples. Not too sweet, quality cherries, and fresh and competently made choux dough. Cappuccino also solid. A comfortable place to sit and take a break in the afternoon, even if it is a bit small and crowded.

Sweet or savory it never disappoints, perhaps the best in Chiaia. Excellent coffee. The owners were friendly, kind and always available. Overall I would say 🔝

Good breakfast, but nothing exceptional. Prices slightly above average.
