Paying €3.20 (just) for an excellent coffee and an exceptional dessert would already be a great start to the day. Then my empathy for this city and its people increases when, paying after I've already consumed something, the automatic cashier gives me change for a €20 note, with about 100 20-cent and 10-cent coins. At that point, the very sweet old lady at the cashier calls the pastry chef, who gives me back the full €20 and tells me not to worry, you can pay me next time. I'm amazed, thank you for your trust, but I don't live here, and what's he surprised about? We're in Naples. Finally, after persevering, I managed to pay with my debit card. What a great start, and jurnat!

Very good pasta and always friendly service

I thought it was very good. The espresso was delicious, just like everywhere in Naples. The croissant was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, English isn't very good, but everything works better than you might think with hand gestures.

I discovered it thanks to the breakfast deal with my accommodation. It was absolutely excellent: quality products, a wide selection, and friendly staff. In addition to the breakfast voucher, I purchased other products to try, all excellent.

One needs to realize that hundreds of people go there each day. Don’t worry about how they react to you, just order what you want, pay, and enjoy! The pistachio cornetto was divine at 9pm!

Service is so-so, but the pastry counter is top-notch. Coffee and cappuccino aren't the best in Naples, but the brioches are excellent.

If you want a croissant that's different from the usual, this is the place. Not only is it different, it's definitely above average.

My experience is based on breakfast...nothing to say, very good croissants...one point less for the service
