One needs to realize that hundreds of people go there each day. Don’t worry about how they react to you, just order what you want, pay, and enjoy! The pistachio cornetto was divine at 9pm!

The staff don't speak English, which is bad for tourism itself. I got the feeling they were rushing us, because as soon as we sat down, the waitress was drooling, hand on hip, asking what we wanted to eat, and we hadn't even seen the menu. The bathroom was in terrible condition, and there wasn't even water in the sink. Other than that, the food was good and fresh.

03/08/2025: we were there to drink a few espresso martinis and the server lady was so kind and hospitable. we got extra cookies and snacks. really welcoming and lovely service.
23/07/2025: I visited this bar alone on a warm June evening. I enjoyed the cheerfulness of the patrons. Fair prices and excellent drinks. Friendly owners. UPDATE I returned in the late afternoon on July 21st and 22nd, 2025, and I confirm my positive impressions. Every "lived-in" bar has a specific social space. I enjoyed the afternoon and evening ones. Let's do a little bar anthropology à la Marc Augé. In the afternoon, the bar is frequented by students, local residents, workers, and tourists. There's an air of cordiality and familiarity. In the afternoon, I noticed a friendly owner and a very young woman serving tables with a smile and disarming kindness. I will return to Naples and to this bar soon. I'm the one with the beard, drinking a beer in the afternoon.
