Pasticceria Mignone In Napoli

We were just getting the tram back to our accommodation when we heard music coming from this bakery and a big crowd of people gathered outside. There was a DJ and a live sax player. It turns out that they were celebrating their 25th birthday, with free nibbles and a party. It was great to try their delicious skewers, mini pizzas and fruit, but the highlight was the individual profiteroles, which they serve in different flavours, for example with a rich chocolate sauce or lemon sauce. These were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The lemon one was particularly tasty. Inside the shop there are some beautiful cakes, such as the chocolate blood orange log. Our visit to the Mignone bakery was an unexpected highlight of our trip, and I'd definitely recommend popping in there for a profiterole or two.

A spectacular pastry shop that successfully combines traditional and modern pastry making, but above all, uses good, high-quality ingredients: the cream they use is exceptional, for example, truly top-notch, and even with so many desserts... it was always delicious! Highly recommended, and the complaints about the staff in other reviews are absurd; they're completely unfounded.

This will be dangerous, we live around the corner and stopped here on our first night. We bought 6 beautiful little pieces and they not disappoint. Flavours, texture and the patient service we received all matched by beautiful packaging. This is shop is a little work of arts.

As a chef, this is the best of all kind Napoli dessert is "delizia al limone" must come here, fresh and perfect sweet, not too sweet! Includimg other dolci are amazing (Pastiera and Torta caprese). People in town have known well, I got suggestion from a nonno. The owner in black appron is so kind.

The desserts are very good. It's a shame the staff is so cold.

For me, a huge fan of other pastry shops in Naples, Mignone is the best. The quality of the products and ingredients is second to none, the prices are absolutely fair and reasonable on every item, and the kindness of the staff is the envy of places in northern cities (and in this regard, other pastry shops in Naples, while excellent in quality, have a lot to learn). I've honestly never seen them before! It took me a while to write this review. I've been here several times just to confirm what I wrote, and now I have no doubts. #1!!!

If you're in Naples and love traditional desserts, a stop at Mignone is a must. A historic pastry shop that never disappoints; in fact, it wins you over with the first bite. The counter is a feast for the eyes, but the true masterpiece—trust me—is the Santa Rosa. The pastry is perfectly golden, crispy to perfection, fragrant and buttery, without ever being heavy. The filling? A smooth, fragrant, and abundant custard, enriched with classic black cherries, which add a slightly tart touch that balances all the sweetness.

I just devoured a tart with black cherries (and not "black cherries jam"). I've said it all....!!!!!

Pasticceria ottima a due passi dalla metropolitana di via Cavour la consiglio vivamente. La loro specialità è a base di una crema ai limoni della costiera, paradisiaca. Altro che fermarsi alle pasticcerie in vista che non sanno di niente.
