Pasticceria Max In Treviso

During my stay in Treviso, I chose to come here for breakfast, we had a mix of mignon and a tiramisu, so the tiramisu for the price is a bit small, the mignon instead are by the piece, but in all this I have to say that the mignon were not bad but not so spectacular while the tiramisu was very good.

I've had breakfast here a few times, and the croissants are amazing. The only flaw, for me, is their size. Quality comes at a price, as we all know, and the prices are definitely high compared to other bakeries... but at least for that price, it would be nice to be able to eat and enjoy a croissant of at least a normal size, precisely because they're so delicious. 🙂 I'm giving it 4 stars, not 5, for this reason alone.

Winner of Best Tiramisu 2021, and in my opinion, and many others, even 2025! A very nice, well-organized pastry shop in the center, with super kind and helpful staff despite the chaos.

We went yesterday for the first time, passing by by chance as we're not from the area. We had two pastries (babà and raspberry cream puffs). The dough is very good, but we found both a little too sweet. We had two more pastries (perfetta and maxmisù), and these were better. Plus, the "perfetta" is just that 😅, you can taste all the ingredients, without one overpowering the other. To drink, the coffee and barley with almond milk were excellent. We took home two brioches to try this morning (pear and cinnamon, whole wheat with honey). The dough was excellent, but the whole wheat was a little too sweet for me (the honey, however, was all on one side). The prices are quite high (but that also depends on one's budget). The atmosphere feels more like a small bar than a quality pastry shop. Overall, I'd say it's a good pastry shop, and if we're in the area, we'll gladly stop by again 😊

The place in Sant'Angelo is cold. They could warm it up a bit out of respect for the customers. The coffee is sour. The other day we literally ran away because of the temperature discomfort. Very pretentious, very expensive, unpleasant feeling.

Super products! But... we had quests and casually passing by the shop wanted to buy the famous tiramisu. We arrived minute after closing, but the door was open and the lady still there, tiramisu in fridge. Unfortunately she refused to sell us the tiramisu. We were so disappointed. What a service is this?
