Pasticceria Galbiati In Lodi

On my fb today I posted this: THE best RICE CAKE in the Lodi area. At the Galbiati pastry shop in Lodi. A free and sincere promotion... But I didn't post what I added. But two things: - don't take advantage of this to increase prices in these lean times... - the coffee is less good than it was some time ago. Sin. But it can be recovered. Zero good morning, zero friendliness, zero music and it is clear that no one cares. It may be good but the welcome needs to be reviewed.

Proof that the Lodi cake no longer exists. You have a pastry shop that is excellent, together with the historic pastry shop in the center you are among the best. But producing a dessert that you call "Mandorlata Lodigiana" and proportioning the ingredients in reverse and not toasting the almonds until the classic color is something that you could have avoided! Very disappointed! The Mandorlata Lodigiana or "Tortionata" is something else entirely! For everything else I recommend the pastry shop which as I have already said is one of the best.

Probably the best pastry shop in Lodi. Breakfast with excellent brioche, no less important the best coffee in the world: Illy, wide selection of always fresh pastries, excellent cakes. Try it and believe it.
