As we ambled along Via Grande in Livorno, Italy—browsing a blocks-long pop up market lining both sides of the street—we stopped in Pasticceria Caffe Miro. What a treat! Very “famiglia” feel. We had their homemade pastries with a couple decaf cappuccinos (“due cappuccini decaffeinati”). We are coming back to Livorno in about a week. This place is on our list for a revisit! See the photo.

What can I say? I discovered it by chance and it's become my favorite bar! Delicious breakfast, the pastries are the best in Livorno (and I've eaten some), the friendliness and passion for their work are the masters! Highly recommended 🧡

For me, the best breakfast pastries in Livorno. The pastries are always fresh and offer a wide selection. The artisanal holiday desserts are unbeatable.

26/08/2025: We're still sitting at the table. We stopped by chance to get two pizzas, but seeing all their typical fish dishes pass by, we convinced ourselves it was the best choice for us. We had the lobster paccheri, which were truly generous and surprisingly flavorful. We couldn't help but try the fried fish and their signature swordfish Livorno-style, with a delicate yet impactful flavor. Very courteous and professional service. Kudos to all the dining room staff and to the chef who is behind all this research into the product, combined with the craftsmanship and passion for his work. Excellent culinary experience... I'd give it more stars if I could. Kudos to everyone, keep up the good work.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, served quickly and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
22/11/2025: Luca, the host, is exceptional. We ordered two pizzas to go. He was very kind, friendly, and helpful. He has pizzas... we ate them on the ship, and even though they were cold, they were delicious. Next crossing, we'll come earlier and stay for dinner. Definitely!
