Il Gelato di Chiara

11/08/2025: For years, whenever we're in the area, we've been driving to Campglia specifically for Chiara's ice cream. In fact, I can't think of any better ice cream! One of the rare features—besides the unusual and perfect ice cream combinations—is the judicious use of sweetness. Nothing is masked, but sweetened just enough to highlight the variety of flavors and allow them to unfold. In any larger city, this little ice cream shop would be a crowded and barely affordable place for gourmets. We sincerely hope that Chiara's gem in Campiglia Marittima can maintain its commercial viability!

22/09/2025: Great pizza! The takeout was ready in 10 minutes, a record! There's just too much white light inside; perhaps it should be replaced with off-white yellow lights for the sphere...
18/09/2025: Restaurant in the square with outdoor and indoor seating, good service, normal waiting time, good food and tasty dishes, good value for money, recommended
