Pasticceria Bignè d'Oro In Mantova

Although I didn't get to try the pastry shop, it was a great stop even just for a quick breakfast. Very good cappuccino, ditto the croissants. Friendly staff.

Excellent pastries, always very fresh and delicious.... unfortunately very small environment, considering that it is possible to consume on the spot... cake and semifreddo display case too hidden... but as regards the professionalism in the creation of the desserts, nothing to say

I'm from Milan and I found myself here for a trip out of town. Before going to the station I had breakfast in this pastry shop, curious to try it. I ate the best pistachio brioche I've ever eaten. The brioche was made with the French croissant recipe, fragrant and golden, not too heavy. It wasn't the brioche dough, which is sometimes used in these cases. The filling was excellent and sufficiently plentiful. The environment is welcoming and you have the impression that everyone knows each other. There are no tables to sit but there are enough seats at the counter, also because many people stop by just for a quick coffee. I will return to try the other delights of the pastry shop which offers many Mantua specialties.
