The bar service has gotten worse and they don't serve hot chocolate. For the rest, they are very good at pastry making.

Pasticceria di un tempo con dolci tipici mantovani e non solo..zabaione molto buono...purtroppo devo anche dire che l'Anello di Monaco NON è da comprare!! Io l'ho fatto e a Natale è stata una delusione:impasto secco e con poco sapore..non è piaciuto a nessuno degli ospiti , buttato nel pattume per metà.

Upon entering, you are surrounded by the scent of freshly baked desserts that makes your mouth water. The place is very welcoming, in a modern style but with a reference to the past, certainly recently renovated. The rose cake is a masterpiece: soft, delicate, with a filling that melts in your mouth. Every bite is an explosion of taste! Monaco rings are equally delicious, soft and with a citrus aftertaste that makes them unique. The staff is very kind and makes you feel at home straight away. If you are looking for traditional desserts made with quality ingredients, this is the right place! You won't regret it! The Bignè d'Oro from Mantua is a real discovery! I would recommend this place to anyone: * Loves homemade desserts; * Wants to try traditional flavours; * Look for a welcoming place a stone's throw from the center of Mantua where you can enjoy a good breakfast or snack. It does not have seats as the place is very small, you can only eat standing up.

Desserts in Mantua must be eaten here. Little assortment but excellent, truly a traditional excellence. Too bad we can't spend some time sitting there... I recommend the cream puffs, delicious!

pasticceria di grande qualità soprattutto per le specialità manovane:helvezia,greca anello di monaco,caldi dolci,bicchierini di zabaglione e tutti i tipi di paste (diplomatici in testa) ed una strabiliante zuppa inglese.;prezzi un pò alti,servizio normale.

We wanted to thank the pastry chef for the excellent desserts, both for breakfast and for the rose cake and the monk's ring, which were fabulous. The zabaglione cream is also excellent
