Pasticceria Amoroso In Napoli

The Amoroso pastry shop revealed itself to us as an oasis in the middle of the desert! After spending a busy afternoon, we happened upon the doors of this pastry shop at opening time and, I would add, fortunately! So, we tasted several typical desserts and they were all of an excellent standard with a good quality-price ratio. However, what best seasoned our experience was the hospitality and availability of the owners, especially the lady who served us; in fact, despite not being from Campania, we felt pampered as if we had known each other forever. Having said this, as a Sicilian, I can only encourage you to try their sweets (particularly those we tasted), the babà, the puff pastry (curly and shortbread) and the snowflakes, at least you who can! Absolutely approved pastry shop, maybe one day we will return... GC
