I hadn't been to Cecina in a couple of years, but on September 7th I went to this pastry shop for breakfast... I remembered it being good, but not exceptional... the legendary rice pastry was even better than usual (perhaps because I was so hungry), and the braided pastry was so soft it made me want to dip it in my cappuccino... It was really crowded, so we avoided it to avoid making a fool of ourselves... the service was also excellent, despite the fact that it was under pressure at the time because the place was packed (at 10 in the morning). The prices are low for the quality. When we return to Cecina, we'll stop by again for breakfast...

Pasticceria Silvia has now become my favorite stop on my scooter ride from Piombino to Florence. I always enjoy stopping here because it's conveniently located, the ambiance is charming, and the red brick exterior reminds me of Mario Botta's architecture, the staff is charming and friendly, and above all, the pastries are truly delicious and inviting. The croissants are excellent, as is the coffee. I highly recommend it.

I have been to this pastry shop and I must say that the overall experience was positive. The desserts are really good: fresh, well presented and with an excellent balance of flavors. The environment is well-kept, welcoming and well furnished, perfect for a relaxing break. The only sour note was the service: one of the ladies at the counter was a bit grumpy in the way she served, which cooled the atmosphere a bit. Nothing serious, but an extra smile wouldn't hurt.

26/08/2025: We're still sitting at the table. We stopped by chance to get two pizzas, but seeing all their typical fish dishes pass by, we convinced ourselves it was the best choice for us. We had the lobster paccheri, which were truly generous and surprisingly flavorful. We couldn't help but try the fried fish and their signature swordfish Livorno-style, with a delicate yet impactful flavor. Very courteous and professional service. Kudos to all the dining room staff and to the chef who is behind all this research into the product, combined with the craftsmanship and passion for his work. Excellent culinary experience... I'd give it more stars if I could. Kudos to everyone, keep up the good work.
