Panino Marino In Genova

I've always liked it since it opened, and it continues to maintain its quality. Unfortunately, I used to get my supplies from the other store, also in the center of Genoa, which has unfortunately closed. It's great for both a quick lunch and a nice alternative to dinner, with good products and a fair price.

You don't go there for the ambiance; service is shared between the customer and the management, but the sandwiches are a delight. On our last visit, my colleague nearly fell over with delight. At the next table, two people (professionals in the field) were chatting amiably about food and yachting. Well, one of the two people's guests... almost fell over like his colleague! A lunch break with the sea on one side, even if it's chaotic with traffic, and the alleyways behind. A few steps after a sandwich can always be invigorating, especially as you get to see a truly distinctive Genoa.

I loved it so much, I even went back. Nothing special, but the salads are really good and fresh.

A small but wonderful place serving only a small selection of fish sandwiches. Large, very filling, and excellent quality. Am I advertising? No, I'm just a regular customer, always satisfied. Despite its small size, there's always room at the counter, at tables outside, and inside, in the historic Piazza Caricamento opposite the Expo. There's another place in another area that I've never been to.

An excellent little restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty aperitif or try unique sandwiches, all featuring seafood. Excellent value for money.
