This bakery is a must-see for many who have known it. I've known it for several decades (there was still a kind elderly lady at the counter who greeted everyone at the entrance), but now I think it's run by family and heirs. My favorite product is the 1 kg Tuscan bread; the aroma is delicious when you walk in, as is the bread itself, which is sometimes sold fresh from the oven (they also bake in the morning on weekends). They also have a variety of baked goods: cakes, various biscuits, meringues, spianata, etc. On weekends, you'll see people in cars, cyclists and motorcyclists, and trekking enthusiasts stopping for bread, and with a delicious cold cut or Nutella, lunch and dessert are served. 5⭐ because it's also one of the few and last bakeries in the Marecchia Valley that still make and sell bread with flour also ground by an ancient mill in the valley. A historical value, and a quality shop as well. If you just want a brioche, try it; for coffee, there's a bar 15 meters away. Be careful of the parking lot and the very busy road. The bakery is on a bend before the bridge.

They make delicious bread,
I'd say like the ones they used to make in the olden days.
They probably use good-quality ingredients and a long leavening process, like they used to when making bread? Good.
For me, it's a must-try when I pass through here, and I recommend it to everyone.
I forgot to mention that the price is also excellent, which doesn't hurt these days.

I stopped by today after so many years, the years when I was little and we went on trips to the Balze. Today, smelling that aroma brought back all those wonderful childhood memories. Delicious Tuscan bread and superb spianata.

You can't miss stopping at the Ponte Messa bakery. It's a must-see if you're passing through. But it's also worth a short detour. Excellent bread, baked continuously, so you might find it still warm. The spianata is special! And then there are the cakes, brioches, and various pastries... You're never disappointed. It's very well-known, so you might have to wait in line, but there's always plenty of everything. The lady at the counter is kind and friendly. It's also open on Sunday mornings.

The best bread in the entire Marecchia Valley, perhaps in Romagna. Tuscan, as it used to be. If you pass by and don't stop, you've committed a sin!
