Panificio Gullo Di Russo Giuseppe & C.S.N.C In Castelvetrano

A bakery that still makes bread according to the traditional recipe. The owner is what you might call a son of a baker. I remember when, many years ago, I would go to buy bread from his parents, strictly black, hand-kneaded and baked in a preheated wood-fired oven, and he, as a little boy, would play around. The black bread is excellent, as are the pizza and biscuits of the most classic Castelvetrano tradition. A taste is highly recommended.

A real treat! The black bread roll, a specialty of Castelvetrano, is absolutely delicious. A unique and authentic flavor that reminds me of Sicily. I love it, and I will definitely come back!😋
