Agriturismo Masseria Santa Lucia

04/02/2026: Don't miss this if you are planning to stay over in the Agnone area!! We stayed here in June 2025, and it was a fantastic experience. Authentic atmosphere, well maintained and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape with hilltop towns. A quiet and relaxing retreat in a region not too affected by tourists. Excellent base for visiting the charming town of Agnone and exploring the region's rich nature and wildlife. The masseria was spotless, simply perfect. A beautiful garden with flowers, various fruit trees and a nice pool area. Emma is a fantastic host. Breakfast included homemade cakes, jam and yoghurt ++. We also had dinner at the masseria, and every evening Emma surprised us with new dishes out of local recipes. The masseria also produces olive oil for purchase. And then, the wine... The masseria is surrounded by vineyards, and they make their own red wine, the Tintilia Zio Alfonso, which they sell directly from their cellar. Hidden gem.

13/10/2025: We're updating our review. A favorite in the area. Spacious, comfortable, and family-friendly. The house mixed antipasto with cured meats and cheeses, served with delicious Montepulciano jam, was delicious. The first course was a tough one to decide: long homemade pasta with sausage and porcini mushrooms, homemade gnocchi with gurnard sauce or pesto... This time I opted for the first course. Once again, an excellent choice. The house wine was full-bodied and just right. Due to limited time, I had to postpone dessert until the next opportunity, which I hope won't be missed. See you soon. P.S. For those of you who are passing through, don't hesitate to stop by; it's worth the opportunity! I'll add more photos. Previous review: Zeno is the owner, a friendly, helpful person, and very skilled in the kitchen. The homemade first course (gnocchi) was excellent, accompanied by a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and cured meats. Excellent value. A casual yet charming location, in the center of town but ready to welcome you indoors or outdoors. I'll be back as soon as I get the chance. P.S. I'll add some photos. Roberto
