Strolling along Via San Vincenzo in the heart of Genoa, I stopped to order an excellent and delicious espresso at the stand-up counter in this historic Genoese café and pastry shop. It has indoor and outdoor tables overlooking the street, but it doesn't have a restroom. At this pastry shop, you can enjoy breakfast with coffee, cappuccino, and a wide selection of sweet pastries, cakes, pastries, brioches, croissants, canestrelli, cannoncini, panarelline, pastries, pandolce, and more. You can also have lunch or an aperitif in the evening. The staff was welcoming, competent, professional, friendly, and helpful, and the service was attentive, fast, and well-priced. I'll always give Panarello a good rating. But I'd like to make a comment or criticism. Pannellino with zabaglione (?), thinner and therefore drier. You look for zabaglione, you'll find just a taste, transparent powdered sugar. Nothing like the ones from years ago. In my opinion, a policy that doesn't pay off. If they don't change, it'll be difficult to buy any more. I hope my constructive criticism or correction is useful. The price is right.
