Even though only the boss spoke English, we managed to communicate, drink wine and eat simple, tasty pasta. Toilet in good condition, drinks made fairly, very nice service

"An ideal place to spend time on the beach. Gaetano and Pietro manage this place with care, but don't forget that their mother is in the kitchen preparing incredible traditional Gaetana dishes. An unforgettable experience from every point of view!"

Enchanting location and sea. Excellent welcome, they make you feel at home. In the evening you dine with the sound of the sea and the scents of Gaeta. Have lunch or dinner on the sand under your feet. Spectacular. Ask for Pietro or Gaetano, and you will have super service.

10 e lode! A parte la location e il panorama bellissimi, il pranzo è stato buonissimo. Poca attesa pur essendo Pasqua e Pasquetta, piatti curati e serviti con molta gentilezza e professionalità. Grazie Gaetano e a tutto lo staff

23/08/2024: we got married in Positano, after our wedding we decided to have our dinner at Il Capitano and let me tell you if you’re looking for un-disturbed views of Positano that go hand-in-hand with incredible service and even better food than do not walk past this place they went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one and we could not recommend this place enough. we want to say a massive thank you to all the staff and management. you made special night even more memorable

La Terrazza

25/08/2024: Beautiful terrace in front of the sea, an historical place in Triest. The restaurant has a great view and it's perfect for a dinner/lunch in Summer. They offer fresh fish cooked with mastery at the right price. The owner suggests what they can offer that day (best choice, in my opinion) but you can order from the menu which rich and interesting with some local dishes. Don't forget to reserve your table, otherwise it's difficult to get one. This is is the right place to enjoy food and friends.
