Otoro Ishi Nola In Nola

A little hidden gem in the city of Nola. Stunning interiors, impeccable service, and top-notch cuisine. It was a complete experience. It's not a restaurant, but an Umami boutique.

We went to Otoro Ishi in Nola and chose the tasting menu, both for food and wine. It was a truly wonderful experience: each dish was a surprising mix of flavors, with unique pairings of sweet and sour that worked perfectly. The sauces, the contrasts... everything seemed designed to amaze the palate, but without overdoing it, with great balance. We also really enjoyed the wine tasting. The waiter who looked after us was knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. He carefully explained each wine to us, and even let us taste an off-menu orange wine just because we were curious—a gesture greatly appreciated. Everything was very thoughtfully designed, but the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We would gladly return.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent food. I haven't tried everything yet to be thorough, but more on that soon.

Very nice and elegant place, qualified and attentive staff. Excellent food and fair prices for the quality of the dishes offered. The only flaw I think is that the prices on the menu are exempt from VAT.
