Osteria Torre Morosini In Ponte di piave

Today, some friends invited me to lunch at this restaurant. It's a bit out of the way for me, but they convinced me it would be worth it. They were absolutely right!!! A historic osteria with a chef who creates dishes you absolutely must try. The menu offers a good selection and excellent ingredients. Even the names of the dishes are refined, and many represent Venetian tradition. The chef even accepted our invitation to explain a dish to us by joining us at the table. I'll definitely be back and take some photos of the dishes; I was too busy with company today.

The welcome and helpfulness of the staff were excellent. I recommend the tartare as an appetizer; it was very, very good. The second course, rabbit, didn't completely satisfy me: the meat was too dry for my taste. The cuttlefish, however, was good. Compliments to the entire staff.

A cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, dishes crafted with care and a touch of originality. The staff is attentive and extremely kind. We'll definitely be back!

Having happened upon the area with friends, after some research, we decided to dine at this quaint "osteria" despite the difficulty of finding it because the GPS route leads to a one-way street. Once we arrived, we immediately realized it was worth the wait. All the dishes were excellent, both meat and fish, right down to dessert. A pleasant wait, the freshly prepared first courses, and you can taste it: exquisite! The staff are kind and professional, and they even involve the kitchen in the way they talk about and describe the dishes upon request. The place is small but very welcoming. An experience we'll definitely repeat, and definitely try in the summer, when the outdoor area is scheduled for renovation.
