Osteria Tocai In Treviso

Greta was truly super kind and helpful! It was my first time at that bar and I didn't know anyone, but she welcomed me with a smile, making me feel immediately at ease. Even though it was a Saturday night and there were lots of people, she was kind, attentive, and always available. You can tell she's passionate about her work and cares about her customers. 😊

As soon as we came in for an aperitivo, we asked the waitress if we could order. She invited us to sit, assuring us she'd come to the table to take our order. However, after waiting at least 15 minutes without anyone showing up, we were forced to get up and order directly at the counter. There were four people behind the counter, and we were seated right in front of them; despite this, when we asked, they even asked where we were sitting. No complaints about the quality: excellent food, fresh cicchetti, and good wine. It's a real shame about the service, which needs a wake-up call.

I went to Tocai for an aperitif with about twenty colleagues. The cicchetti, fried foods, and prosecco were delicious. The service was prompt and punctual. The girls were very kind and ready to accommodate our every need. A true Trevigiana osteria.

A historic restaurant in the center of Treviso, welcoming and ideal for an aperitivo, thanks to the wide selection of dishes and cicchetti. Unfortunately, I must point out a negative aspect that impacted the overall experience: one of the waiters behind the counter, while heating the mozzarella in carrozza, handled it with his bare hands immediately after using the cash register phone. Once served, we politely reported the situation, asking for it to be returned. The mozzarella was simply taken away and put away, without any new ones being brought. Furthermore, at the time of payment, no apology was received for the incident. Attention to hygiene and customer service is essential.

Considering the price, the Cicchetti could definitely be improved. Good choice of wines.

The welcome was warm. We had two decent appetizers. The risotto was delicious.

The service was rushed and the food was just okay. I imagine it's better suited for an appetizer and a drink; it's not the best option for lunch, but it was open on January 1st.
