We were looking for a nice tavern in Livorno and through Google Maps we came across the red tavern and it was a pleasant discovery. The friendly staff is very approachable and puts you at ease. The dishes are very generous. The tasting of the trio of seafood starters is definitely worth trying, excellent pappardelle with wild boar, good seafood carbonara, excellent mashed potatoes, I recommend it, we will definitely be back

I was with my wife on Friday evening in this Osteria in Livorno, a place with an informal and very simple atmosphere but the welcome and the food were spectacular, a seafood carbonare and a top cacciucco with a Vernaccia that went perfectly! It was like being at home! Well done

Friendliness and good Livorno food. Warmly welcomed by the owner of this very nice tavern. The place is small but welcoming, frequented by locals. Menu not very long but certainly of quality. We took a land and a seafood starter, both excellent. Special mention for the cod under pesto. Then seafood carbonara, Spaghetti with lupins, truly special tagliatelle with cuttlefish ink. Then stuffed mussels (top) and Livorno-style cod. Excellent cheese cake and also the china. And finally a little chat with the owner and other customers. Really recommended.

A characteristic place. With outdoor seating. Traditional cuisine. Low costs. Always better to book. Very friendly staff. Ate well..., I recommend it
