Nonna Maria is steps away from the main strip of Salerno but in no way a tourist trap. The food is INCREDIBLE! Carlo was our server and he was so friendly and attentive but allowed us to enjoy our dinner and take our time. I highly recommend the house appetizer, we received more than expected for the price and it was all so fresh and delicious. If you are staying in Salerno and craving Italian food but not seafood, this is THE place to go

We ordered carbonara and potato and cod croquettes. The prices were very good, and the carbonara was spectacular, in my opinion. A generous portion, creamy, and the guacamole was unbeatable. Highly recommended!

I took my family here when they visited me in Salerno, and it was thier most authentic Italian dinner experience of the whole trip. Oustanding service and live music throughout dinner was a highlight. I highly recommend thier carbonara dish and the steak was one of the best I've had (especially for 18 euro)!

After a visit to the bookshop and a short walk you couldn't miss Osteria Nonna Maria. The courtesy and skill of chef Silvio and the availability of his boys never disappoint. Carbonara 'na poetry. Cod in batter 'a second poem. And tripe... What can we talk about!!! Thank you. It's always nice to find yourself where there is a scent of "home": in the flavours, in the heart. See you soon

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene x pranzo, tutte pietanze diverse : baccalà fritto e non, carbonara, amatriciana, carciofi, puntarelle, frittelle di fiori di zucca, supplì cacio e pepe, tutto molto buono, atmosfera piacevole, personale gentile, prezzo abbastanza equilibrato. Lo consiglio, necessaria la prenotazione quasi sempre. Torneremo.

Il proprietario Silvio ti fa sentire come a casa. In un atmosfera rilassata e rustica si possono assaggiare piatti della cucina tipica romana. Camerieri gentilissimi e veloci. Consigliatissimo.
