We're in Pescasseroli for work, heading towards Battipaglia. For 40 km, we don't find a single bar, just a mountain road and trees :-) At a certain point, some light comes on and we arrive in this village. On the left, we notice the sign for an osteria, and like hungry wolves, we rush to ask for a table. We're immediately welcomed, seated, and we eat truly well. We deserved it. Local cuisine and pizzas, too. Cocktail service. The quality of the dishes is truly high and refined. If we were in the area, we'd definitely come back. Well done.

I found it almost by chance, but it was a wonderful experience... and a tasty one. The place is warm and welcoming, and even from the outside it looks great. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and they welcome guests and make them feel at home. The food is delicious, and the cuisine is innovative but with an eye on tradition. I have to return as soon as I can. Highly recommended!! PS: In the photo, what's left of the tomhawk I shared with my son... even the bone was almost gone.
