The place is nothing special, and the cuisine is very Sardinian.
The food: the appetizer, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, was presented in a way that was unpleasant and tasteless. The braised beef, which should have been cooked in Vernaccia, was very questionable; it tasted like a classic boiled meat in broth, and was flavorless. The pork shank with potatoes was good.
The 375cl Cannonau wine was delicious.
I would have expected something more from Sardinian cuisine.
The price was a bit high for what I mentioned above.

A small restaurant in the center of Nepi. The warm atmosphere is ideal for a dinner for two, as I had just last night. The food is as unique as the Sardinian names on the menu. Specialties from the island's hinterland blend with the flavors and traditions of Tuscia. Everything is delicious! The price range is medium to high, but I think the desserts, ranging from €9 to €10, are definitely overpriced.

We booked at Osteria del Seminario on the recommendation of a local. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly enough, and our reservation was ready. They immediately asked us what we'd like to drink and, shortly thereafter, brought us the menus. The menu offers an interesting combination of traditional Sardinian dishes and specialties from the Tuscia region, an idea we found original and intriguing.
We chose a simple appetizer, a first course, and a second course. All the courses were excellent: great flavor, excellent presentation, and top-quality ingredients. The quality of the cuisine is unquestionable, and the preparation exudes attention and care.
However, we believe the value for money is quite high. The menu certainly offers elaborate and high-quality dishes, but the overall price—including drinks and cover charge—seemed excessive, especially considering the setting and location of the restaurant. More than an osteria, it felt like a true city restaurant, with prices not always affordable for everyone.
In conclusion, we recommend it only to those seeking an excellent gastronomic experience and willing to spend a little more for refined and well-prepared dishes. However, we don't think it's suitable for those expecting a traditional osteria at reasonable prices, as the dishes, while excellent, are decidedly out of line in terms of price for the area.

Osteria molto carina ed accogliente nel centro storico della bellissima Nepi. Menù molto originale, la tradizione Sarda con quella della Tuscia Viterbese. Pasta degna di nota... le fettuccine fatte a mano profumavano di pasta fatta in casa come quelle che faceva mia nonna... meravigliose. I secondi, i dolci tutto, tutto buono. Complimenti al servizio di sala, impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente.

Location accogliente, personale educato, materie prime di eccellenza. In cucina Sandra super padrona di casa che prepara tutto con le sue mani. Ricette tradizionali dalla memoria familiare sarda con prodotti del territorio. E il caffè come a casa!
