Osteria del Pettirosso In Rovereto

Osteria del Pettirosso is a firm favourite in Rovereto: an intimate atmosphere, quality Trentino cuisine including canederli, carne salada, tartare, and homemade desserts. Excellent wines. Thanks to Paolo, always passionate and available. Highly recommended!

The experience at this osteria was overall positive. The dishes were well-cooked, visually appealing, and presented with attention to detail. The passion behind the preparation of the dishes was evident, and they were both tasty and well-balanced. A less convincing aspect, however, was the bill, which was quite high. Some details, such as the water served on tap (not in a sealed bottle) at €2.50 for half a liter, were a bit perplexing and contributed to the feeling of a price that wasn't entirely reasonable. Worth mentioning, however, was the friendliness and cordiality of Mr. Michele, who added a human and pleasant touch to the experience. In summary: excellent cuisine and a warm welcome, but the quality/price ratio could be improved.

Good dumplings and even better pork with tuna sauce, reasonable prices €13 and €15

The seating was uncomfortable at a very small table. We didn't really like the atmosphere... the tartare menu was excellent. The risotto wasn't a dish I'll remember fondly.

Tar tar tar excellent, but the rest was also very good. The only thing was the dessert I had (the canederlo) which in my opinion and my mother's was quite questionable.

A truly excellent culinary experience. The trio of superior-quality dumplings is a treat for the palate. The burgers are made with excellent quality meat, perfectly cooked. The desserts are absolutely delicate and delicious. All served by friendly, knowledgeable, and discreet staff. The atmosphere is pleasant, with soft lighting and soft music. Highly recommended.

Beautiful discovery in the heart of Rovereto.... stumbled upon it by chance during a day trip out of town.... very nice place, very knowledgeable staff and good food.... a "negative" note (based on my experience in restaurants) if as soon as I sit down I am offered a welcome bubbly... it is right that it is offered..... not that then on the bill I find the beauty of two glasses paid (and handsomely)..... in that case I think it is right to offer an aperitif and possibly let me choose the quality 😉 aside from that highly recommended and if I happen to be in Rovereto again I will not fail to try another..... delicious and beautiful tartare..... cheers!

I was in Rovereto for work, so I decided to treat myself to a dinner alone. Unfortunately, I only had an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert, but if I'd had room, I would have ordered many more dishes, because I was so satisfied with the experience: from the service to the authenticity of the dishes, and even the elegant yet informal atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you for your dedication. Long live good food!

Prima sera a Rovereto, molto soddisfatti per la qualità dei piatti provati sia primi che secondi. Ovviamente canederli meritano una considerazione particolare e sono assolutamente da ordinare. Sicuramente consigliato

Wat een heerlijke plek is dit. Nog steeds. 2 jaar terug een aantal keer bezocht en vandaag bleek ons bezoek een juiste keuze. Goeie gastheerschap, duidelijk kaart. Steak tartaar keuzes zelfs in een aparte menukaart, perfect. Bijpassende wijnen waren ook perfect. Mocht je op doorreis zijn, stop dan hier voor een goeie lunch. Aanrader!
