Osteria del Pettirosso In Rovereto

I ate here a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is small but well-kept, spread over two levels (ground floor and lower level). The quality of the food is truly excellent, everything fresh and well-presented, and the service is also friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and the service is perfect: the dishes arrive at the right pace, without excessive waiting. The only flaw: the menu is a bit limited, with only three first courses and three second courses to choose from. A reimagining of a historic osteria that has retained its traditional, welcoming atmosphere. A limited menu with decent dishes. The dessert of the month, a licorice semifreddo, is excellent!

A restaurant in the heart of Rovereto, with attentive service, even for allergies and tastes. Their dumplings are their pride and joy, and they're undoubtedly extraordinary. Average prices, and a menu for large groups can be arranged.

Modern and antique in one place.

Excellent traditional Trentino dishes, revisited, and a beautiful location.

A very welcoming and characteristic place. Tables are carefully set. Attentive, friendly, and professional staff. Excellent food, with a focus on Trentino specialties, including exquisite canederli and excellent dried meat. Prices are reasonable for Trentino.

Menu choices: - "Sformatino" appetizer: the only positive aspect of the meal, a shame the dish arrived lukewarm/cold; - First course: Pasta with duck and leek ragù: insufficient, the ragù had a bitter taste and a rancid odor, and a runny consistency; - Second course: Pork with tuna and caper sauce and potatoes, not exceptional. The potatoes were a bit dry. - Dessert: "Childhood memory" with egg custard, Marsala, and chocolate: it would have been a good idea, but the egg custard wasn't well blended (the presence of whole sugar was noticeable with every bite). Coffee and wine were good. I'm giving it 3 out of 5 because, despite the poor food, the service was impeccable (the waitress was kind and professional), and the place is very beautiful.

Discovered by chance, it was a wonderful experience. Excellent food, and the staff were truly friendly and attentive to their needs. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice experience….it can be a restaurant or a place where to drink some good wine, eating good stuff… Menu was good, mixed ham and cheese, and the famous canederli. Dessert was very good with sweet canederli, with menu clearly explaining all the food. Price was not cheap but food was ok. Good local wine selection.
