23/07/2024: We were in the mood for fresh trout and went straight to a small restaurant on a trout farm. A small family business and located near Tesero. A small restaurant, there is only room for a few tables, and very cozy. The landlady, who was also the cook, welcomed us warmly and very friendly. The menu was of course all about the trout and the char, which are also farmed there. First of all, we had three types of antipasti with smoked Saubling, pickled trout and trout marinated in light vinegar with caper berries. There was also fresh, warm bread and small tostadas. That was very good and the appetizer portion for one person was easily enough for two. Then we ordered grilled trout with a shredded potato rosti and a young white cabbage salad. You could tell from the food that a lot of emphasis was placed on regional, local products. We thought that was very good. The food was very tasty and the trout was grilled to perfection. There was also a nice bottle of Gewürztraminer for what we thought was a small amount of money from Trentino. We felt very comfortable in the Troticoltura Vinante and can only recommend this lovely family business. We wish you continue to have as many satisfied guests as we have had.
