Visiting Mantua for the literature festival, I booked a dinner at this restaurant with my family. The restaurant is conveniently located just outside the historic center. Weather permitting, you can dine on the quiet side street.
We took advantage of the special menu for the event, sampling the three first courses offered, followed by a mixed house antipasto.
I must admit, we enjoyed everything, especially the first courses, which were simple but very well prepared.
The service was excellent, performed by young, friendly people.
The bill was fair.

Had dinner twice there so far and a last one this very evening.
I booked dinners for three days in a row to try and check almost everything on the menu (good thing, it a short menu, meaning all products are fresh) and because it was just 300m away from my place.
I really liked it after a terrible experience in Cremona.
Very great staff, friendly and professional, great local specialties (loved the tortelli di zucca and the pollo alla Stefani, not to mention the great home made sbrisolona), relaxed atmosphere … I definitely recommend it and can’t wait for tonight’s dinner!

We went there as a group of four and we got a table on the terrace. I recommend to reserve a table. The menu is rather small but excellent, they serve typical italian and mantuan dishes. All the pasta is homemade and the food in generell is exquisite. The staff is welcoming and really good. I definetly recommend this place.

Lunch during the Literature Festival. Simple place, close to the city center. Good service and fairly quick (but it was crowded). The first courses, risotto with Lambrusco wine and bigoli with pesto, were truly delicious. €15 for these pasta dishes seems a bit steep, but perhaps the price was adjusted for this event.

The food was very good. We had the risotto and also the set menu (roast chicken with baked potatoes). The waitress was very friendly. She took care of the tables and prepared the drinks, always with a smile. We'll be back next year.

A friendly and youthful place, just like the people who run it. Dynamic, friendly, and knowledgeable. You can also eat outside; the only thing that bothers you are the cars that can pass along this street. The location is a bit outside the hustle and bustle of the city center, but the quality/price ratio is excellent. The pumpkin ravioli with butter and sage are excellent! Congratulations, guys!

Good restaurant, friendly staff. The chickpea farinata with caponata was very good, and the pumpkin tortelli were plentiful and delicious, but for my taste, they were a bit too generous with the crumbled amaretto on top. Service was very slow, but they apologized sincerely, citing a kitchen problem.

We dined here last week, and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the attentive and welcoming service, but above all, the care and expertise behind the dishes.
The oxtail and escarole were delicious, highly recommended.
The heart appetizer was delicate (we would perhaps have preferred a more intense marinade, but the dish was worth it anyway).
The stuffed ravioli are Mantua-style, and very al dente. I would suggest adding a more savory touch upon request (e.g., diced guanciale or shavings of pecorino).
