It's not the first time we eat at this restaurant and every time it's a surprise! Very fresh fish and excellent raw materials. The combinations and sauces make each course original and full of imagination! For us it is the best here in Anzio... because each dish stands out for its creativity.
The cooked starters are a delight for the palate and the raw ones are excellent. For the second course we took the St. Peter's fish and the octopus... what can I say! Both excellent.
Compliments to the chef... brilliant and obviously to all the staff

Excellent restaurant for the food and for the staff, I'll tell you an anecdote from today's San Giuseppe 2025, lunch, guest of my brother, we were greeted by a welcome appetizer, soute' of mussels and clams, followed by spaghetti with baby squid and bottarga, really very good, after the coffee they brought us two small San Giuseppe cream puffs to taste, I couldn't resist the temptation, my brother didn't eat it... I asked for one sachet to take it to my wife to taste... the waiter, a nice young boy, with an excuse took the cream puffs back to the kitchen, returning shortly after with the sachet... which I thanked and took away... tonight for dinner... in the bag I found two cream puffs... a very nice and kind gesture... I wanted to thank him publicly because I really appreciated this small form of kindness from a young man

Seafood focus here clearly.
We had a chicken and lamb (became beef) luncheon.
A bit pricey and a mysterious water charge.
We were on Sunday for lunch, for the second time, in this lovely restaurant in front of the port of Anzio. We ate really well, for a starter we took the trio of tartare (REALLY RECOMMENDED), but the highlight was the panko prawn meatballs with mango sauce (from ten more, the various condiments and sauces make it a truly delicious dish)! To then continue with two first courses: spaghetti or jalapeno lime and chopped scampi, sensations, and spaghetti with lemon pesto and prawns (perhaps a little bitter in my opinion, the only flaw otherwise it was all a ten). For sweet tobacco mousse with rum and dark chocolate, a truly particular flavor but which overall leaves you pleasantly surprised.
Waiting times a little long, but understandable as it is a sunny Sunday in Anzio (those who are local know).
Courteous and prepared service.
Above average wine list.
We are from the area and eat in local restaurants in the area. To date I can easily say that Oltremare is among my favourites.
We will be back for the tasting. The chef is really talented.
