An excellent experience, authentic Genoese cuisine, uncomplicated and practical, because when you serve so many people you have to be quick and still offer quality dishes. Here, you can breathe in tradition, you can feel the antiquity of the place but... without dust on the bottles.
Tradition and simplicity reign here: ravioli al tuccü with a filling that is an explosion of flavors, the pesto is truly delicious, lasagna is a classic, but also excellent cod fritters, a traditional charcuterie board, a shank that seemed to come from the Flintstones movie but well-cooked and plentiful, a braised meat that melted in your mouth, impeccable service, a perfect host, kind but not intrusive, knowledgeable and firm in his gastronomic choices, who don't see forced innovation, but rather stick to tradition without inventing strange things!
Humility, simplicity, an excellent staff, and a host who understands that ancient, traditional flavors don't necessarily need change, from edible flowers to drops of parsley concentrate.
Then I add the artisanal panettone, the tiramisu, the focaccia, and the homemade tart.
Good, simple, honest wines.
I give Daniele and his staff a 10!
Perhaps Bastianich was badly advised on his two visits to Genoa; he should have stopped by the Santuario della Guardia and eaten here to discover those flavors that linger in your memory.

I went on Wednesday for lunch (today) for a visit to the sanctuary and we ate at this restaurant, we found typical Genoese cuisine and excellent quality in the dishes from appetizer to dessert. You can taste the freshness of the products and the skill of the cook. The pesto and ravioli were excellent, as were the homemade desserts (specifically, we had tiramisu, apple pie, and pear and chocolate cake)! The owner very kindly offered freshly baked canestrelli to our girls!! In short, a great discovery, we will definitely be back!!

The staff are truly friendly.
Various dishes, typically Genoese but not exclusively, some excellent, others less so. The coffee is ristretto by default; for a half cup, ask for a long one...
The bathrooms are really clean.

Nice, very quaint place. All the dishes were good and the prices were fair. The only flaw was the ravioli al tuccu—you could only taste the oil and they floated in it. Highly recommended.

Characteristic atmosphere,
Typical Genoese food, good quality but a bit limited in quantity.
The €12 platter was good but the quantity was small.
