Every time we return to the Marche region, we can't miss "Nonna Lea," a charming restaurant located on the border between Abruzzo and Marche, in the characteristic hilly landscape of Ancarano. Enjoying the chef's dishes is always a pleasure! Fantastic first courses; we always love the handmade Chitarrine pasta with mushrooms and truffles. Among the best in the area! Fantastic "scottadito" lamb, served directly from the grill... A delicacy! Handmade Ascolana olives using exceptional ingredients, prepared with select meats for the filling and the famous "tender olive," much appreciated by connoisseurs. Fresh and flavorful side dishes. Delicious desserts, especially the Zuppa Inglese, known as Pizza Dolce because it was the typical holiday dessert in every home. Superbly refined atmosphere. Very friendly owner and competent waiting staff. Panoramic location with a picturesque view of the mountains, especially at sunset. At the end of the meal, as is tradition, the house offers limoncello or gentian, a sign of great hospitality (praise be given!!!). Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Abruzzo is surprising, but increasingly a guarantee... arrosticini, bruschetta, fried potatoes and olives for a snack, and a breathtaking sunset... what better way to end a Sunday?
We returned as a couple to the small room with the fireplace lit... we loved the atmosphere and the dishes❣️

We were two for dinner and decided to order just two starters, a main course, and a side dish, along with a can of Coke, for €47. The starters were porcini mushrooms and truffles, delicious and plentiful, full of mushrooms. The main course was a grilled meat, also plentiful, served on a small tabletop grill. The outside area was very nice, and the room we were seated in was very intimate, well-kept, and had a fireplace. We'll be back.

If you're looking for a restaurant that truly pleases everyone, this is the place. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a warm and refined atmosphere, with attentive, friendly staff always ready to recommend the perfect dish.
The menu is extensive and well-balanced: meat, fish, and pizza, all treated with the same care and quality. The meats are tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection and accompanied by side dishes that enhance each flavor. The fish is fresh, fragrant, and delicately cooked, without unnecessary frills: you can truly taste the sea in every bite.
The pizzas deserve a special mention: light, well-leavened, and easily digestible dough, with premium ingredients and combinations ranging from classics to more creative options. Every bite reveals the attention to raw materials and passion for cooking.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent, especially considering the variety of the offerings and the attention to detail. A place to remember, where you'll happily return for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends, or a special occasion. Highly recommended! 🍽️

A casual, very clean restaurant. You're greeted with courtesy and professionalism, a rarity these days. The waitress who served us is young but attentive to every detail. She explains the menu simply to put guests at ease. We dined on fried cheese and artisanal Ascolana olives, which are a must-try, as are the arrosticini. The latter are tender as butter and have a delicate, smoky flavor, typical of grilling. The dessert also deserves praise. Coffee and liqueur cake, topped with chopped hazelnuts. Limoncello and Genzana liqueur round out the experience. Price? Excellent, too. We can't say enough about it, thank you to the entire kitchen and dining room team for the pleasant experience we had. We're certain that if we return to your wonderful land, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you so much.

Everything was very pleasant. We had homemade Ascoli olives, which we loved, and two excellent first courses. Yesterday we had pizza, and it was good too.
