Nicò Pizza e Co. In Lecce

We liked the pizza so much we went twice while visiting Lecce! Our server (both times) was absolutely lovely too. She had just enough English that we had some good laughs and she really made it a nice experience. I'd definitely recommend it for a casual pizza experience if you're in the historic part of Lecce. The outdoor seating is a little cramped but the pizza is so good you probably won't mind.

In its simplicity, an excellence of the Lecce tradition, both for the historicity of the property which has fed generations of people, and for the low prices thanks to which you can enjoy excellent rustici and calzones. Be wary of rouged locals who ask you for gold to taste local products, choose Nicò's "hit and run" approach! Only flaw: improvement on the pizzas.

Great variety of choice: whole pizzas, slices, calzones, rustici, sweets, wraps etc. The person is very kind and helpful. The pizzas are not of excellent quality, they are edible but there are better places. Furthermore, due to the quality offered, the prices are high, let's say that they are based on the fact that they are in the center as they should be. The flatbreads are good. In summary it is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat without too many pretensions.
